His reload still acts fine without it and you will not miss the aoe at all. Scuttle is merely his primary fire except with his reload. It is a talent that is just a crutch for horrible aim and even then hurl would be a more suitable option. Scuttle: Below we will go into his 2 talents and how their playstyles affect him and allow him to maximize his strengths and minimize the effects of his weaknesses. While he has a reputation at lower levels to be braindead when he actually is one of the most difficult champions to master using his 2 viable talents. It will need to be nerfed in another way.Dredge is a very interesting character with 2 main playstyle's both with high skill ceilings and very powerful in their given roles. You get Deft |Hands along with level five Heave Away so you can A- reload at max speed with broadside and B- so you can still get a relatively quick reload if you don't use broadside because it's not always the best firing mode to use as it's horrible at doing direct damage.ĭeft Hands being disabled on him will really not fix anything because it will just force broadside spam on him and at that point to be the most effective he can be with scuttle, practically gutting the talent as a whole which shouldn't be what we're aiming for in balance, while also preventing him from being able to protect himself as well against flankers as he would without Deft Hands if he's using other talentsīroadside having a cooldown is against the philosophy of the ability in the first place being a true alternate fire. ![]() Why do more damage to shields per shot with wrecker when you can buy Deft Hands and deal more dps with scuttle, in that same light- you deal so much damage with scuttle along with the fact that the rest of your team will probably have caut, that you might as well get deft hands.
